Getting There Taree is situated 310 kms north of Sydney and 500 kms south of Brisbane. If travelling north from Sydney leave the Pacific Highway at the well marked exit ramp on your left hand side. Follow the signs into Taree, cross the Manning River, turn right into Victoria St at the traffic lights just after the bridge, proceed along Victoria St and the In Town Motor Inn is located just past the 3rd set of lights on your left hand side.
If travelling south from Brisbane leave the Pacific Highway at the well marked exit ramp on your left hand side. Turn right onto the overhead bridge spanning the highway then follow this road right into the Taree CBD.
Parking On site, with some covered spaces available.
Things To Do Activities in the Taree area include boating, fishing, swimming and surfing at any number of beautiful beaches from Wallabi Point in the south to Crowdy Head in the north. Enjoy the coastal rainforest walk at Hallidays Point at Blackhead Beach just 15 kms from Taree or head inland for hiking or picnicing in the national parks. Local area maps are available at reception.
